OMG.......

So remember last night I said we were supposed to get snow? Well.....I think we ended up with 8 inches !! Can you believe that? I looked out the window and the snow on top of our grill is almost taller than the grill itself !! Thank weatherman.......how 'bout some sun so I don't have to shovel.

Since we are obviously stuck inside for yet another day, I decided to grocery shop before it got too bad. While I was at the local store, I found this cutting board on the $1 isle.......lightbulb !! I decided to turn it into a little message center for the fridge:

I had this cutesy kitchen paper that I didn't seem to have a use for....that happens alot lol
I covered the board, pen and note holder with blue cs and the kitchen paper. Used a sentiment from PTI and PTI buttons. My plan is to hang it on the fridge with a suction cup :

Not bad for a snowy day project........the LAST snowy day project (you got that weatherman?) I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and if any of you have some sunshine, would you mind sending some my way ?? : )

Spring...where are you ???

ok, so tomorrow is supposed to be the first day of spring.....uh did you hear that weatherman? Why are you forecasting 4-8 inches of snow? Seriously......haven't we had a long enough winter already ?

I'm trying to keep a positive attitude about the ehhh snow, so I decided to make a spring shower sorta card tonight. Once again, I was cleaning up some of my scraps and couldn't resist this pink paper....I'm really starting to like pink.........anyway, nothing special here, simply finished off the top with a green rhinestone and green ribbon:

Oh did I tell you how much fun it is to have a new puppy ??? That's her throwing a fit right now, out in the rain I go !! Have a great and dry weekend lol

Ready for a picnic

Hey gals....hope everyone is having a great week so far !!

I'm starting to get in the mood to be outside, have a picnic and just watch the kiddos play !! I think we're all tired of being locked up in the house.........

I was going through some of my scrap paper and when I saw this pink on pink polka dot paper, I immediately thought watermelon. I used the Stretch your Imagingation cartridge to cut out the melon and had just enough paper left over to use as part of the mat. I used black stickles for the seeds. The sentiment is from PTI and the ribbon was some that I bought a long time ago and never seemed to have a use for...lol

Hey Chic !!

Hey there.....I have to tell ya, I'm totally exhausted tonight. We got a new puppy on Sunday....she's actually done great with potty training but that means I have to get up with her in the middle of the night to take her out.....that cuts into my well-deserved sleep !! But she's worth it.

So.....the card.......been on a roll lately with the Everyday Button Bits from PTI. This time the cutesy little bird :

I have to tell ya something funny.....after I put the bird on and dotted his little eye, I left to get something for the kids (drinks probably lol) and when I came back, somehow the button had twisted and the "eye" was on the top of his head !! It was the funniest looking thing...lol So I twisted it back and stared at it until it stayed lol

Well, time to let the puppy out, have a great night : )

Embossed but not forgotten....

Did you have a good weekend ?? Ours was pretty hectic around here. Tonight's post is super duper short.....guitar lessons for my little rock star lol

I haven't embossed anything in awhile and decided to dust off the folders and give it a whirl.....I love the touch of lace and buttons. Simple but clean : )

Let's see what we have.....kraft cardstock base, vintage cream cardstock, oceans tide cardstock...the sentiment is from PTI. I punched out the squares with a SU punch and stampedmy background image in oceans tide ink:

Happy Flowers

TGIF !! I'm so happy that the weekend is here !! Today is my daughter's birthday.......she's growing up too fast : ( We took her to Joe's Crab Shack last night for dinner and she had a blast. She got up and danced with the staff, it was a hoot !!

This is a card that I made for my stash. I decided to stamp the flower stems from PTI 3 times so I could use lots and lots of yummy buttons lol

This card makes me smile everytime I look at it ! Hope you have a fun weekend !!
