Spring is coming.........

Now that it's March, I hope that the temp here will slowly start to creep up. I think this has been the longest winter of my life !! I'm ready to start planting some flowers (I don't exactly have a green thumb, but this is my year of trying new things : )

So to start off with spring, I thought I would share the last two cards that I submitted for the Scrapbook Page Design Team challenge. I fell in love with this butterfly paper by Pink Paislee.

Both of the cards measure 4x6. I used Kraft cs for the Thank you card, along with pink cs and matching ribbon. A few rhinestones to finish it off......there ya go !!

A page for dad....

Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far !! I took my oldest shopping this morning....I think it's been forever since I've been to a mall !! Old Navy had some great deals and even though we were "supposed" to be shopping for her, the whole family ended up with something : )

Another layout tonight.....this one for daddy. I love the colors of this page....orange, brown and cream are probably my favorite color combination : )

Well....time to join the hubby and watch the MU game !! Go Tigers !

Just Because.....

Happy Friday !! I'm starting to feel a little better....finally !! I don't know what kinda bug I got ahold of, but I'm glad it's gone.

Clock for my office

Hey gals !! Well, I'm still not feeling well, but wanted to share a clock that I altered for my office. It turned out cute !!

The flower in the center was cut on the cricut and it's hard to see, but I added in a few random spots of stickles on the green flourish stamps to give it some sparkle. Thanks for stopping by !!

Hi there !! Quick card this evening, I've been a little under the weather so this will be a quick one.

This card was inspired by a card made by Dawn. Love how the flower turned out with the circles......and the swiss dots embossing on the pink cs.

Cards for a Sweet Baby Boy

Tonight I thought I'd share a few cards that were part of a package I put together for a local scrapbook store as a potential design team member........I'm proud to say that I'm now a Page Girl !! I was so excited to get the chance to be on a design team again. All of the gals chosen are super talented and I'm honored to be a part of it !!

I have to say that I don't know anyone having a baby anytime soon, so these will go in my stash for a later use !!

Card Patterns Sketch 52

Hope everyone is staying warm this evening !! I think I had a DeJa Vu moment this afternoon as I watched the trees get covered with ice !! We had a terrible ice storm here in '02 and I don't care to relive that one !!

Card Patterns is having another great sketch challenge. I love the inspiration I get from all the submissions !! If I ever get stumped, this is where I go to re-energize myself !! Here's the sketch:

I decided that I was going to use up some scraps that I just hate to part with !! I'm really attached to paper and I'll save even the tiniest piece....lol
